Academic Collaborations

At the Community Nutrition Forum, Kerala (CNF), we see academia not as an institution, but as an ecosystem — where ideas evolve, evidence strengthens, and every collaboration nurtures growth.

Through meaningful partnerships with universities and global research bodies, CNF Kerala continues to build a future-ready community of dietitians grounded in science, ethics, and empathy.

Bridging Science, Skill, and Service

In partnership with Monash University, Australia, CNF Kerala facilitated discounted access to the globally recognized Low FODMAP Certification Course for Indian dietitians.

What began as an effort to bridge global science with local practice soon became a movement in itself — today, Kerala proudly leads India with over 130 FODMAP-trained dietitians, each equipped to manage IBS and gastrointestinal disorders through evidence-based dietary interventions.

This initiative reflects our mission: to democratize advanced nutritional education and make global expertise accessible to every committed professional in Kerala.

CNF Kerala has also entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with JDT Islam College, Department of Food Technology, marking a milestone in our commitment to academic synergy.

This collaboration aims to foster student mentorship, research training, and hands-on exposure in the evolving fields of food science and nutritional psychology.

Through this partnership, CNF bridges classroom learning with community application — preparing students not just for employment, but for enlightened engagement in the field of nutrition and public health.
